"MYQ Kaplan"
A New Jersey native whose absurd comic style has been compared to that of Steven Wright and the late Mitch Hedberg. Kaplan pokes fun at everything from racism to vegetarianism to social mores. Myq Kaplan started as a baby, then grew up. In-between, a lot of stuff happened; he taught himself guitar, started writing funny songs, then performing jokes that are not songs, which he now does at comedy clubs everywhere (or at least in parts of everywhere). He was a semi-finalist in the 2006 Boston Comedy Festival and the 2006 Seattle Comedy Competition, won Boston University's Funniest Student Contest (it's a big school), and other impressive/boring things. PS He's funny.
